In this section you can read a number of emails which have been sent to people, who have been involved, in one way or another, in Ambroses’ case.
The collection you see below is just a selection of the emails Ruth has sent over a period of 3 years. To list them all would would be very time consuming. However, I think the ones I have included, highlight the areas and concerns which surround Ambroses’ case, the way the Metropolitan Police have dealt with the investigation and, the way they have dealt with us as a grieving family.
Below is one of the very first emails I sent regarding Ambroses’ disappearance. The details referred to within this email were known to us within 2 weeks of Ambrose going missing. This same email was sent to a number of people, who were mainly Members Of Parliament. I then posted this onto Ambroses’ numerous FB and Twitter pages.
You will come across the email below a number of times. Nothing has changed in this email, apart from the people who it was sent to.
Below is an email I sent to a number of people, regarding a phone conversation between DI Sharon Freeman Woods and my husband Chris. This conversation took place 10 days after Ambrose went missing. By this time, the relationship between the Metropolitan Police and Ambroses’ family had completely broken down, due to a number of lies which will/have been exposed within this blog. These also include the attitude of the DI and the FLO Lina Whitby towards the family their continuing incompetence, and in some cases, covering up the corruption which has taken place in relation to Ambrose disappearance and death, were the sole causes of this. – 4th February 2015.
The email below are a couple of emais from the MP Alison Cornelius, which she sent after being made aware of Ambrose’scase. In one of them Alison clearly states the police started to fail Ambrose and Ruth from the very beginning, according to their own guidelines – 6th and 13th February 2015.
Below are copies of 2 emails which Ruth sent to Borough Commander Victor O’lisa on the 28th February and 1st March 2015. The ones below were delivered by hand, to Colindale Police station FAO Borough Commander Victor O’lisa on the 1st March 2015.
The reason Ruth chose Colindale is because this is the police station that is at the centre of the corruption that surrounds Ambroses’ disappearance and death. In addition to Colndale, it also became apparent, over time, that Enfield and Wood Green were also involved in one way or another – 28th February, 1st and 13th March 2015.
On the 13th March, 13 days after Ruth hand delivered her questions into Colindale Police station, and 14 days after she sent an email to Victor O’lisa, we received the email below, on the 13th March 2015 from Borough Commader Victor O’lisa…
The email referred to in my email below, refers to the first email I sent to Alison Cornelius MP and others – 10th March 2015.
Below is the email I received from the DPS regarding my complaint. This is as far as it went as far as I know, as we haven’t heard anything back from them – 12th March 2015.
Below is the response from the I.P.C.C. as detailed in the email below that. We have had NO OTHER RESPONSES to this at all – 17th March 2015.
Below are 3 emails that were sent to Ruth from a journalist called Zoie O’Bien. As you can see by her email below, we were not the only ones the Metropolitan Police were ignoring. The Metropolitan Police really did not want Ambroses’ true details to get any public attention. However, if the details were WRONG, they were happy – 16th and 19th March 2015.
Ruth sent these 2 email to Detective Steve Perkins after we had been informed by Borough Commander Victor O’lisa and Stewart Hill, that a new team had taken over the investigation _ 25th March 2015.

Ruth had tried to report this a number of times, the last time being to Tottenham police station, 4 years previously. I know you have told/advised me to get legal advice and at the time I was dead against getting any outside help reasons you are fully aware of. I felt that is was to late to go down that rd as far as the inquest was concerned. However this has passed now and feel that it is that time to get the legal support to continue on the road of getting to the truth in how my son met his death. I have ;looked in to pro bono and I have to have a referee to refer me and you are the most powerful person that i have who I can turn too. I really hope you don’t mind me turning to out of the blue as we have not spoken for some time but my life still remains the same s if I am in 29/2/2015 and have not moved on from that same nightmare. hope you can help me as you have done as I feel the biggest fight of my life is going to start and need all the help I can get. Below are a few emails which are in relation to a DNA test that Beckie Smith had kindly arranged for Ruth. However, as Ruth was unable to get hold of me, this offer was not taken up at the time.
I just want to clarify something before I go any further. Ruth and I have been calling the PM we are waiting for, a ‘2nd Independent PM’. This is incorrect. What we are actually waiting for is for Ambrose to have his FIRST independent PM done. This is a right which Ruth has been denied from the beginning.
We have decided to wait until Ruth gets Ambroses’ PM done independently. The reason for this is because Beckie explained to Ruth, that in order for the DNA test to be done, they would have to thaw Ambroses’ body. We understand that once this process is undertaken, it will speed the rate of decomposition, making any independent PM harder, unless it was carried out at the same time.
I have 2 major issues with this. The 1st one is that Ruth signed for Ambroses’ tissues not to be destroyed and, that they are to remain in storage, for later testing. So my question is why did Beckie tell Ruth that they needed to move Ambroses’ body to Kings College Hospital to thaw etc before a DNA test could be carried out, when they know we already have tissue samples that belong to Ambrose? In addition to this, we also want these tested independently of the Metropolitan Police, Haringey council and Haringey Mortuary.
My 2nd issue is why would Beckie advise Ruth to do that when she knows that Ruth want’s to get an independent PM done? Beckie is aware that Ruth cannot do that at the moment, so if Ruth had agreed to go ahead with the DNA testing just before Christmas, she would have lost any chance of having a PM done independently of the police and Haringey council…
Below is an email Ruth sent to Beckie Smith on the 18th December 2017. The reason for doing this is because Beckie Smith had actually left the coroners office before Ambroses’ inquest began, and Ruth just wanted to keep her up to date with how things have gone since Beckie had left, which was for a period of almost 2 years.

We have been struggling to get justice for 3 years and to bring this case to the attention of the wider media and general public, but, we have been blocked at every avenue, by the BBC and the Metropolitan Police to name just a couple of organisations. Re-tweeting and sharing this via social media, in the hope that it goes viral, is our last hope. It only takes a few seconds to do, but it would mean the World to us and, it could make all the difference regarding Ambroses’ case receiving the exposure it deserves. Please don’t do nothing, God forbid, you could find yourself in the same situation, which is something I wouldn’t wish on my worse enemy.
